How are payments processed?

A WePay account is automatically created for you during the sign up process. You must hook up a bank account within 30 days of creating your event or you will not be able to receive any more funds.  One you set it up, you can withdraw funds daily, weekly or monthly. WePay charges a single fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per donation. All donations you receive will immediately appear inside of your WePay account. To Withdraw funds, you can click the “$” button on top of your Anython page to request a check or bank transfer from WePay.

If you are raising money for a non-profit, our partner FirstGIving will send a check to them automatically from the money you raised from your Anython.  They charge a 4% fee to process and deliver all charity donations.  FirstGiving will normally prepare and issue payments to charities every 2 weeks, if not sooner.

Remember: all of this setup is coordinated within your Anython page, so don’t worry about going elsewhere or the hassle of following up with sponsors.  Let us do the heavy lifting.
